Declutter your photos, one day at a time
Each day, reviewOTD shows you the photos and videos you took on today’s date in past years. Keep the ones that matter, let go of the rest, and be done in a few minutes.
How it works

On this day, in past years
Photos and videos from today’s date come to you together, one at a time. Each card tells you how many years ago it was taken.

Swipe to keep or delete
Nothing is deleted while you swipe. When you finish, you confirm the whole batch once with the standard iOS delete confirmation.

Easy to undo
Deleted items go to Recently Deleted in the Photos app, where you can restore them for 30 days.

A closer look
Tap a card to see it full screen: zoom in, play videos and view Live Photos. Share an item from its card with the standard share sheet.

Protected dates
Some days aren’t for decluttering. Mark a date, such as a loved one’s birthday, and it will never be offered for review, every year.

Gentle reminders
Optional. At most one notification a day, at a time you choose, and only on days that have something to review.

Review another day
Finished early? Jump to a random past date that has photos or videos and that you haven’t reviewed in the last six months or so.

Your way
Review all media, photos only or videos only, and see a running total of how much you’ve sent to Recently Deleted.
Private by design
- Your photos are processed on your device and are never uploaded.
- No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party SDKs.
- We run no servers for the app, so there is nowhere for us to send your data.
- The only synced data is your running deletion total, kept in your own iCloud.
Requirements
iPhone or iPad running iOS 17 or later. reviewOTD needs full access to your Photos library so it can find every past year’s photos for a date. The app hasn’t been released yet.
